Bangalore: Covid has been confirmed as a South African, and has been admitted to Quarantine. Officials at Kempegowda International Airport have been alerted.
Travelers from 10 highrisk countries, including South Africa, have been closely monitored, with 584 people arriving in the last 10 days. Of them, 94 travelers from South Africa arrived in Bangalore. Coronavirus infection was detected in two of them. It is in this context that the two have been quarantined.
